Paid-to-click (PTC) ads reward a user for visiting an advertiser's page under the campaign's rules. On ClixWall, click campaigns use a timed view and checks against repeated or suspicious clicks. They are one option on the Wall alongside offers, surveys, tasks, and app installs.
The actual return to a publisher depends on campaign availability, user geography, valid clicks, and the share configured for the publisher website. This guide explains the model without promising a fixed payout.
How a click campaign works
- An advertiser creates a click campaign with a destination URL, target countries, and a view duration.
- An eligible user sees the campaign on the Wall and chooses to open it.
- ClixWall applies the campaign's view and duplicate-click checks before a click counts.
- A confirmed event can credit the publisher and send the configured publisher postback.
The advertiser overview describes click campaigns and their checks. A view time of 7 to 45 seconds is available for the current click format; the campaign determines what the user actually sees.
For publishers
You add the Wall to a site or app with an iframe or WebView, then configure a postback to credit your own users after confirmed activity. There is no separate PTC SDK. The integration documentation has the Wall URL and postback fields.
Tell users what the ad asks them to do and when their own reward is confirmed. Do not pay users merely for opening a tab or refreshing a page. Rewarding unverified actions creates disputes and can expose advertiser budgets to invalid traffic.
Clicks are only one way for a user to earn. The publisher overview lists the current offer formats; what appears to a given user depends on active campaigns in their country.
For advertisers
Click campaigns can be useful when the goal is a verified visit to a page. They do not by themselves prove a registration, purchase, or app install. If that later action is the goal, choose a format that verifies it and measure it in your own analytics.
Review the destination page on mobile as well as desktop, set the countries you can serve, and monitor the quality of visits rather than raw click counts alone. ClixWall checks repeat clicks and multiple users on one IP before counting a click; advertisers still need to judge whether resulting users take meaningful actions.
Estimate revenue from your own data
Use confirmed click revenue or credited publisher earnings, not total Wall opens, as the numerator. For example, if your records show $12 of publisher earnings from 400 eligible click events, the observed average is $0.03 per confirmed event. That is an illustrative calculation, not a promised ClixWall rate.
Compare the result with the time users spend and the support burden. If users leave before a timed view qualifies, their visits may not generate a confirmed event. Availability and payout can change with campaigns, so update projections from recent observed data.
Keep the traffic genuine
Do not auto-click ads, simulate views, route bots through the Wall, or ask users to repeat a click to inflate earnings. Explain the task clearly and let people choose whether to take part. Review your own event and postback history if clicks appear to be missing; avoid assuming every page open should be paid.
